高原都市・茅野市では、標高も高く、地域毎にも標高差があるため、開花は
例年の見頃は4月中旬の市内中心部（運動公園など）から始まり、4月下旬からGwにかけて標高1,200mの蓼科・聖光寺で満開を迎える「本州で最も遅いソメイヨシノ」が有名です。残雪が残るの八ヶ岳とピンク色の桜のコントラストは茅野市ならではの風景になります。

2026年の開花は例年よりも一週間程早かったので、次年度以降茅野市での桜スポットへ訪れる際は、茅野市役所のWebサイトで開花時期に合わせて最新情報をお届けしておりますので、是非ご覧下さい。

This time, we'll introduce some of the best cherry blossom viewing spots in Chino City, including drone footage.
In the highland city of Chino, the elevation is high, and there are significant differences in elevation from area to area.

The best time to see the blossoms is usually in mid-April, starting in the city center (such as the sports park), and reaching full bloom from late April to Golden Week at Shokoji Temple in Tateshina, at an elevation of 1,200m. It's famous for having the "latest blooming Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms on Honshu." The contrast between the snow-capped Yatsugatake Mountains and the pink cherry blossoms is a unique sight in Chino City.
