Recycling Collection
- There is no garbage collection on Saturdays, Sundays, December 29 to January 3.
- Items must be placed at the designated site. Confirm the collection schedule.
- Items must be separated into each material.
- Chino city doesnt collect business waste. Please make a waste collection request to waste disposal services.
Paper
*Wet paper will not be collected.

*Cans must be separated into aluminum cans and steel cans. *Make a hole in a can after confirmation that there is no gas in the can. *Remove non-metallic materials. *Put the tab into the body of a can. *Wash. *You need not crush cans. |
*Glass bottles must be separated into three categories: *Glass bottles printed with letters must be put out with other color glass bottles. *Remove non-glass materials. *Rinse. *Take a beer bottle back to the store where you bought it. *Broken glasses must be put out with non-burnable garbage. |
Plastic
*Plastics must be separated into the white food trays, PET bottles and other plastics.
*Wash and dry.
*If you cant remove dirt from an item, it must be put out with burnable garbage.
*You need not remove labels and seals.

| *Pour the used cooking oil into the poly tank that is placed at the recycling collection site. | *Fluorescent lamps must be put in original packages or wrapped in news papers. *Broken fluorescent lamps must be put out with non-burnable garbage. | |
Non-burnable garbage (Non-Recyclable)
- Non-burnable garbage must be put in Chino-City-designated non-burnable garbage bag (letters are printed in green ink).
- Write your name and your district on the designated garbage bag.
- If a product is too large to put in the designated garbage bag, bring the product to Funenbutsu-shori-jo (incombustible disposal plant) or make a waste collection request to waste disposal services.
- Funenbutsu-shori-jho is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
